Bluebell Cottage is situated on the outskirts of Henstridge village – a small rural settlement on the border between Dorset and Somerset. As one of three holiday homes, this charming single storey mid terrace offers a stylish open-plan living-area, one double bedroom and a luxurious wet room with shower. Local amenities such as the village shop, pubs, restaurants and café are all within easy walking distance, though for a wider variety of establishments, the historic town of Sherborne is also close by, making this a great location for your holiday, no matter what time of year.

Electric convector heaters. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, shared use of washer/dryer (in external utility room), TV/DVD, radio/CD player, wireless internet connection (bring own laptop). All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared use of grounds with private patio area and garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. |

With its lovely beaches beautiful countryside and fascinating history, dating back to the times of the Ancient Britons, Somerset makes a wonderful cottage holiday destination. And the best way to experience the county’s many attractions is from your base in one of our holiday cottages in Somerset. Bath has some of Britain’s most majestic Georgian architecture, as well as the famous Roman Baths (not mention great shopping). Then there’s Wells, England’s smallest city. Wandering around the cathedral close, with its unspoilt medieval lanes is like taking a step back in time. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
